With credits spanning HBO, Amazon Prime, and the Royal Court Theatre, Amara is known for transformative performances that linger long after the curtain falls. Her editorial work with Fenty, Vogue, and Jacquemus showcases the same arresting energy.

Off-screen, she mentors young Black actresses through the Talawa Theatre Company and is a dedicated yogi and spoken-word poet.
